I provide two types of therapy depending on your child's needs. After the evaluation, I determine which approach — or combination — will help the most.

Traditional Pediatric Physical Therapy

Helps children improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility through therapeutic exercises, play, and functional activities.

May be recommended if your child:

  • Needs to improve strength and endurance
  • Needs help with walking, balance, or coordination
  • Is recovering from an injury or surgery
  • Needs general motor development support

Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI)

A specialized therapy designed to stimulate automatic postural responses and improve motor development. Especially helpful for babies and young children with low muscle tone or delayed motor milestones.

DMI helps children develop the automatic postural responses needed for sitting, standing, and walking.

DMI may be recommended if your child:

  • Has low muscle tone
  • Is delayed in motor milestones (rolling, sitting, crawling, walking)
  • Has difficulty activating muscles against gravity
  • Needs help improving postural control and balance
